JAMMU, Aug 16: Samvedna Society Chairman Keshav Chopra organised 86th free eye screening/check up camp at Shiv Mandir Rehari Jammu. The camp was Organised in collaboration with Sood Eye Centre ( A unit of Agarwal Hospitals) and was inaugurated by Superintendent of Police North Jammu Shivam Siddharth accompanied by SDPO Jammu West Zaheer Abbas, SHO Bakshi Nagar Sajid Mughal and Incharge Police Post Sarwal S.I Anil Thapa.
Dr Rohan Sood (MBBS MS PHACO and LASIK Surgeon) examined the patients. The camp saw great attendance from the people of the area a total of 124 Patients were provided free of Cost Treatment including Refraction, NCT, AR Check Up, Vision Check Up by a team of experts and Free Medicines were also given to the patients.
Speaking during the camp SP North Shivam Siddharth praised the Samvedna society’s initiative to provide voluntary services to the common man by organizing regular free health check up camps and eye screening camps at different locations so that maximum people can take benefits of it.
Speaking during the camp, Keshav Chopra said that Samvedna Society is committed to work for the needy sections by providing best healthcare facilities to the people at their doorstep. This camp was planned exclusively to benefit the society and to foster a culture that is devoted to the serving of common man. Cataract removal surgeries will also be done free of cost on Ayushman Bharat Golden Card keshav added.
Col Sanjeev Gupta Secretary Shiv Mandir Committee, Sanjay Gupta, Social Activist Atul Bakshi, Rakesh Bali (Marketing Manager), Ashish Sharma, Hiteshwar, Sakshi Sharma, Samiha, Anju Chopra, Abhishek Gupta, Sushil Gupta,Sourav Gupta, Manoj Tandon, Vikas Kumar and others were also present during the camp.
