Samvedna Society organises eye check-up camp

JAMMU, Dec 12: Samvedna Society under the leadership of its Chairman, Keshav Chopra here today organised the 90th free eye check up camp at Police Station Nowabad in collaboration with Sood Eye Centre.
The camp was inaugurated by Superintendent of Police Jammu North, Vivek Shekhar Sharma and he was accompanied by Deputy Superintendent of Police Headquarters, Ashok Kumar, SHO Nowabad, Inspector Deepak Pathania and In-charge Police Post Canal Road, Sub-Inspector, Darshan Singh.
A total of 64 cops were provided free of cost services including Refraction, NCT, AR Check Up and Vision Check Up by a team of experts and free medicines were also given to them.
Speaking on the occasion, SP North praised Samvedna Society’s initiative to provide voluntary services to cops by organizing regular health check-up camps at different locations.
Keshav Chopra said that Samvedna Society is committed to work for all the sections of the society by providing best healthcare facilities to the people at their doorsteps.
Dr Vithal Rao Balaji, Ashish Sharma, Anees, Hiteshwar Singh, Vikas Kumar, Ashish, Manoj Tandon, Sourav Gupta and others were also present in the camp.
