Samvedna Society provides health insurance cards to poor

JAMMU, May 7: Samvedna Society Chairman Keshav Chopra today provided Ayushman Bharat- Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) free health insurance cards and Abha Cards to the needy people at Talab Tillo.
Speaking on the occasion, Chopra Said that after a long exercise, the Government has crafted the Ayushman Bharat Scheme to bail out the poor and needy population medical expenses which earlier used to hit them hard leading to life full of miseries.
“It is the largest health insurance scheme in the world which has provided free hospitalization benefits to more than 65 million people and similarly ABHA (Ayushman Bharat Health Account) Card helps individuals to access healthcare benefits and store their medical information digitally in one account, Therefore, ABHA ID card is one-stop identification for all healthcare-related activities. It makes it easier for individuals to access and manage their overall wellness,” Keshav said.
The motive of the Samvedna Society is to provide the benefits of Government sponsored schemes to the needy people at their doorstep, he added.
Manoj Tandon , Abhishek Gupta, Rohit Verma, Suraj Peer, Ambar, Divyansh Gupta and others were also present.
