JAMMU, May 19: Autar Krishan Bindroo and Upinder Kumar Chatta have been elected as President and General Secretary, respectively of Shri Sanatan Dharam Sabha Baramulla for a term and tenure of two years.
The election was held today during General Body Meeting of the Sabha at Sanjeevni Shardha Kendra, Anand Nagar Bohri, Jammu.
The election authority , constituted for the purpose of holding the elections, declared Bindroo and Chatta as elected unopposed.
The elected President and General Secretary pledged to uphold the sanctity of the ancient and heritage shrines and worship places in Baramulla besides the assets of the Sabha across the town and elsewhere with special impetus on preserving and promoting the Sanatan traditions and welfare of the community at large.
