JAMMU, Dec 16: Son of the soil, Sandeep Mengi son of late Vijay Kumar Mengi has made Jammu proud by being awarded the prestigious South Asia Pacific (SAP) Healthcare Summit and Business Award.
He was chosen for this award in the category of Healthcare Entrepreneur of the decade in J&K. The awards were presented by Medilinks India and News 1 India at an impressive ceremony held in Siri fort Auditorium, New Delhi.
The award was presented by Harish Rawat (former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand and general secretary, AICC), who was the chief guest of the function.
The programme was also graced by Justice (Retd) Mahavir S Chauhan (special guest) and other various dignitaries including Ramesh Bidhuri, Abhay Singh Chautala, PP Mohammed Faizal, Dr Mahesh Sharma, Ashwani Choubey, Madan Lal (former Indian cricketer), Swamy Anand Swaroop, Bal Mukund Pandey and Anita Kundu (sports celebrity and famous mountaineer) along with many eminent doctors, expert in different fields and prominent members of the civil society.
Currently, Sandeep Mengi is Managing Director of Multispecialty Hospital namely Maharishi Dayanand Hospital, Centre for Eye Sight (A unit of Kyzen Health Care Solutions Private Limited), Nephrocare Dialysis Centre, Nephro care Intensive care unit and general ICU, and Vijay Jyoti Pharmaceutical company.
He is also an executive member of Association of Healthcare Professional of India (North Zone Chapter), Executive member of Board of Development for Sports in India and member of Media Federation of India (J&K Chapter). He has also been awarded with LBN Onco Ambassador for his contribution in the field of cancer awareness by Chairman LBNROH.
