JAMMU, Dec 10: Sandeep Singh Chib was today elected as the new president of Jammu and Kashmir Dairy Farmers Association (JKDFA).
The decision in this regard was taken by the members of the association their during general house meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, the newly elected president, JKDFA, Sandeep Singh Chib announced that in few days core committee and advisory board of JKDFA will be formed and thereafter all the organizational committees will also be formed shortly to the smooth functioning of the association.
He said that a Pashumela will be organized in the month of February for trading of milk yielding animals which will boost the milk productivity in UT and will be for the benefits of the dairy farmers.
Satpal Choudhary conducted the proceedings of the day in which many senior members of the association offered valuable suggestions.
Jeet Ram Choudhary, the founder member of the association, presented a vote of thanks and assured the members that in future the working of association will attain new heights under the dynamic leadership of new elect president.
