Sangarsh holds convention against irregularities in BGSBU

RAJOURI, July 30: Sangarsh—a civic movement for Justice, Equality, Peace, Prosperity and Brotherhood today held a one day convention regarding the irregularities and financial bungling in Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU), Rajouri.
On the occasion Hemakant Sharma, retired coordinator SSA/RMSA was appointed as the new district coordinator of Sangarsh Movement by the general secretary, Dr Suresh Kumar.
Speaking on the occasion, Hemakant Sharma pledged to make all efforts in the campaign launched by Sangarsh and work tirelessly to execute the slogan of Justice, Justice, Equality, Peace, Prosperity and Brotherhood of the Sangarsh movement. He further showed his commitment that he along with other activists of the movement shall create strong network in cleansing university from the hands of corrupt officials.
Joining the Sangarsh Movement, the eminent social worker of Pir Panjal region, Farooq Lone, said that this time the Registrar and the Vice Chancellor cannot escape and they have to pay for their misdoings. He said that the Movement is committed to make this university once again a brand university of the area.
Expressing his views, Nisar Ahmad, a former employee of the BGSBU who resigned in 2013, claimed that because of the Registrar the university has become a worst place to work in and everybody is feeling demoralized. The scholarship scam is simply a one ice cube in a big ice berg, he claimed.
Dr Suresh Kumar, general secretary of Sangarsh and Shokat Ali, vice president, welcomed the new members in the Movement.
