JAMMU, Apr 19: Sangram Sena has expressed serious concern over illegal settlement of Rohingyas and Bangladeshi nationals in Jammu region.
The issue was discussed threadbare in a meeting of the Sangram Sena held under the chairmanship of party president, Ram Rattan Raina.
While addressing the meeting, Raina said that J&K is passing through militancy since 1978 and now the security of Jammuites is in danger due to settlement of Rohingyas and Bangladeshi nationals in Jammu, as there is no check to the movements of these illegal migrants.
Apprehending that in the long run, the settlement of Rohingyas and Bangladeshi nationals in Jammu will prove detrimental to the security and integrity of the State, the Sangram Sena president stressed upon the Government to take immediate steps to free the Jammu region from Rohingyas and Bangladeshi nationals the interest of the security of the State.
