MUMBAI, Feb 28: Stocks of sanitaryware companies ended higher up to 3 per cent after government announced construction of six crore toilets.
HSIL rose by 2.99 per cent to Rs 426, Cera Sanitaryware was up 1.52 per cent to Rs 2,602.55 on the BSE.
Much in line with the government’s ‘Swacch Bharat’ vision, the Finance Minister announced construction of six crore toilets.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today said that 50 lakh toilets constructed in 2014-15 and on the way to achieve target of 6 crore toilets.
Meanwhile, in the stock market the BSE benchmark Sensex ended at 29,361.50, up 141.38 points. (PTI)
