JAMMU, Sept 4: Senior BJP leader and JMC Councillor, Sanjay Kumar Baru of Ward number 41 here today started pending works in Anand Vihar lane of his Ward.
Speaking on the occasion, Baru said that construction of deep drain and laying of paver tiles in one-half of the lane was completed few months back and remaining work to complete the lane was started today which will be completed within next few days.
He said that every effort is being made to ensure that all the works which have been started in the Ward get completed well in time ensuring proper quality.
The JMC Councillor informed that the ongoing work was part of Rs. 44 lakh project.
He directed the concerned officials not to compromise quality and quantity of the materials used for the development works.
“The public elected representatives of BJP in their respective JMC Wards are in regular touch with the local population and they keep on seeking their suggestions for proper implementation of welfare schemes as well as development projects,” he maintained adding that the locals of the area should keep an eye on development works in their areas and don’t hesitate in pointing out lapse, if any, in these works.
BJP District president, Parmod Kapahi and Mandal president, Keshav Chopra were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion Parmod Kapahi said that Ward 41 is being developed as a model Ward and the credit for the same goes to the hard work of Councillor Baru.
BJP leaders Jaideep Singh Samyal, Brijesh Gupta, Jatin Sethi, Ashok Wazir, Krishan Sharma, Rakesh Sharma, Jatinder Khajuria, Lokesh Bhagat, Atul Chopra, Manni, Kewal Sharma, Aman Sharma and locals were also present on the occasion.
