Women can play crucial role: Ganga

SAMBA, July 28: Maintaining that no nation in world can progress which ignores the role of women in its development and prosperity, former Minister and senior BJP leader Chander Parkash Ganga today said that the women are emerging a great power.
Ganga was addressing a women programme at Vijaypur near here today in which Mahila Morcha UT president, Sanjita Dogra was the main speaker.
He said Narendra Modi Government has taken historic steps for the welfare and upliftment of women folk in the country during last 10 years of BJP rule at Centre.
He said Modi deserves credit for 33 percent reservation for women in Parliament and legislative bodies of the country for their empowerment. Now women will be participants in framing the policies for the nation building, he added.
The programme was under district president, Mahila Morcha, Sonia Thakur.
In this largely attended programme, BJP State general secretary & former Minister, Dr.Devinder Kumar Manyal also addressed the gathering and highlighted various achievements of Modi Government.
He emphasized the need for preparation for the upcoming elections and encouraged everyone to be ready for the challenges ahead.
Sanjita Dogra, in her address, explained various schemes having been launched by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi during the last over ten years for women welfare. She elaborated on the benefits of the Housing Scheme, Ayushman Bharat, and Beti Bachao Beti Padhao. Sanjita emphasized how these initiatives have positively impacted Indian women, helping them in their social and economic empowerment and improving quality of life. She asked the women gathering to reach every nook and corner to educate the women about numerous schemes launched exclusively for them and also help in availing benefits of the same.
Sonia Thakur district president spoke about the organization set up, the role of women in the organization and the future goals.
Prabhari Arti Jasrotia spoke on abrogation of 370 and its positive impact on the lives of the women in J&K. SC Morcha National Executive Member Mohan Thapa highlighted that a significant contribution to the victory of Modi during third term was made by women and encouraged them to continue their efforts in the same manner for future progress.
