JAMMU, Apr 18: Sanskar Bharati, Jammu-Kashmir & Ladakh (JK&L) released 2081 Vikrami Samvat Panchang in a function organized at Press Club, here today.
The Panchang was released by president of Sanskar Bharati JK&L Professor Harshvardhan Sharma along with working president Dr Kuldeep Raina and general secretary Ajay Bharti.
Speaking to reporters on the occasion, Prof Harshvardhan said that this 24th edition of the Panchang gives information about the Indian calendar year and local fasts as well as festivals. He added that this Panchang is prepared by the Pandits of Jammu and Pandit Shuneet Sharma has a special contribution in it.
Dr Kuldeep Raina said that this calendar of Vikrami Samvat 2081 Yugashad 5126 Chaitra Byasakh remains hanging in the kitchens of mothers and sisters and it shows our culture and tradition.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Nagarmal Gupta, Yogendra Shastri, Ajay Sharma and Ayush Gupta.
