JAMMU, Dec 16: To spread the message of Baba Hardev Singh that “blood should flow in veins and not in drains”, Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, branch Pounichak, organized a voluntarily blood donation camp at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan Pounichak, here.
During the camp, 55 units of blood was donated by the volunteers. The camp was inaugurated by Ajit Singh, Zonal Incharge, Zone 1 Jammu. While speaking on the occasion, he said that to save a life is a noble venture, and doing so through blood donation is a priceless gift to the person whose life has been saved.
Sant Nirankari Mission is a leader amongst blood donation organizations not just in India, but across the world. Sant Nirankari Mission recognizes blood as a universal human lifeline – all humans, despite caste, colour, gender, or creed, need it to survive.

Dr Anshu of Blood Bank GMC Jammu, Ram Mehta, Kewal Sanchalak, Gurmukh Singh, several senior citizens and social workers of the society.
The camp was held in collaboration with Blood & Transfusion Department of Government Medical College Jammu, Indian Red Cross Society and JKSACS.
