JAMMU, Jan 5: Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation Branch Pounichak donated 67 units of blood today.
With the divine blessings of Satguru, Mata Sudiksha Savinder Hardev Ji, Maharaj Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation branch Pounichak organized a voluntarily blood donation camp at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Pounichak.
The camp was inaugurated by Sarita Chauhan, Commissioner Secretary to the Government Department of Forest, Ecology and Environment. While speaking on the occasion she said that blood donation is a service of the highest order. Sant Nirankari Mission’s unmatched contribution to the society in being the highest donor organization is highly commendable, she added.
She said the message of blood should flow in veins and not in drains is basic to the existence as a human first. The regular camps held reinforce the Mission’s message of oneness, humanness and gives hope to the society for peaceful co-existence, love and tolerance in their spiritual pursuits also.
Ajit Singh zonal Incharge, Sant Nirankari Mandal Jammu congratulated all the donors and welcomed all.
Rattan Chand Mukhi branch Pounichak presented the vote of thanks.
Other dignitaries presented on the occasion were Dr Salve Sharma Blood Bank GMC Jammu, Parshotam Singh Mukhi Domana, Ram Mehta, Keval Sanchalak several senior citizens and social workers of the society.
The camp was held in collaboration with Blood & Transfusion Department of Government Medical College Jammu, Indian Red Cross Society & JKSACS.
