RAJOURI, May 28: Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation organized a blood donation camp at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Rajouri, where 76 devotees donated blood today.
A team of 8 doctors and Paramedics, headed by Dr Mahmood Choudhary, Superintendent of District Hospital Rajouri and Dr Sadiq Khan, Secretary, Red Cross Society, Rajouri assisted in the successful conduct of the camp.
District Development Commissioner, Rajouri and Chairman, District Red Cross Society, Rajouri, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, while inaugurating the camp, said that the camp is a commendable effort of the Mission in the service of humanity around the world.
In this Camp, B P Singh, Zonal Incharge, SNM, J&K, Zone 1-A, stated that, in the 30 years of its inception since 1986 till 2016, the number of blood donation camps, organized by the Mission are 5046, where 8, 69,161 devotees have donated blood including more than a thousand donor devotees belonging to the twin districts of Rajouri/Poonch only. He added that the prime theme of the Mission is to reveal God to the Seekers and in addition to that, the Mission has been doing many social activities like Cleanliness Drive, Plantation Drives,  and provides many Educational and Health Services too.
Ch Qamar Hussain (MLA Rajauri), Sunil Gupta, Vivek Gupta, Susheel Sharma and other prominent persons were present on the occasion and they motivated devotees and donors. Organizer Anil Kapoor  presented vote of thanks.
