JAMMU, May 14: A grand Sant Sammelan under the presidentship of Mahamandleshwar Mahant Shri Shri Raneshwar Dass Ji Maharaj, the Head of J&K Sant Samaj (Nirwani Akhara), was held here today at Brahman Sabha, to register their protest against the atrocities and indiscrimination being meted to Brahmgyani Sant Shri Asaram Bapu Ji.
The Sants accused the Union Government of all atrocities being slated on Shri Asaram Bapu Ji, alleging Union Government is instrumental in giving full freedom to a few foreign channels engaged with propagating malicious and frivolous propaganda round the clock using indecent and foul language to defame Bapuji with the ulterior motive of creating hatred and abhorrence against Sant Samaj and particularly Bapuji.
Speaking on the occasion, Mahant Shri Shri Rameshwar Dass Ji Maharaj alleged that money power being used by the forces at the helm of affairs to hire the truant persons of the Ashram and loose character individuals from the field, is a direct step to destabilize Hindu Sanskriti and its ethos.
Labeling false and baseless heinous allegations against Bapuji with the inclination of new POSCO law is a deep rooted conspiracy to sabotage the faith of Hindu Community and his devotees from the Guru Shishya convention and also a direct attack on Bapuji to malign his image across the globe, he added.
Mahant Mahamandleshwar Swami Shri Shri Swaroop Dass Ji Maharaj said that presenting concoted and fabricated stories with sluggish remarks shall not be tolerated by Sant Samaj any more and warned the authorities to immediately impose ban on the vicious propaganda on Bapuji.
Secretary, Sanatan Dharam Sabha, J&K, expressed confidence that Bapuji shall emerge innocent by the Court.
