SRINAGAR, May 28: Sapna Kotwal, Secretary J&K Advisory Board for Development of Pahari Speaking People conducted intensive tour of Baramulla & Kupwara to review functioning of Boys/Girls Pahari Hostels of the both districts.
During the inspection, she was pleased to see Boys Pahari Hostel, Baramulla being monitoring by District Social Welfare Officer/ Tehsil Social Welfare Officer, Baramulla. She distributed lunch boxes among the inmates of hostel.
During inspection of Boys Hostel Kupwara it was found that inmates are very happy in hostel and thankful to Government for providing such facilities. During the inspection of Girls Hostel Kupwara, the inmates of hostel interacted Sapna Kotwal and expressed happiness over arrangement/facilities provided by J&K PSP Board.
All the Pahari Hostels viz, Baramulla & Kupwara appeared very well maintained/administered where students were being given healthy nutrition/uniform and other play way facilities by the J&K PSP Board.
Sapna Kotwal also suggested/directed to all the concerned wardens to use innovative methods to make the students more dynamic. Further she committed to fulfill some demands of inmates & staff working in these hostels and assured them that the matter will be taken with Administrative Department on priority basis.
