Saraswati Vihar residents’ concern over water scarcity

JAMMU, May 22: The inhabitants of Saraswati Vihar Lower Muthi have expressed their grave resentment against the PHE Department’s failure in improving water supply in the area despite the repeated pleas.
The residents in an appeal to the Department have urged it to look into the problem failing which they will be forced to come to streets as water scarcity in this hot Summer has added to their problems further.
The residents said that it is unfortunate that when there are power crisis some taps in the area are being used by people for washing vehicles and the Department has never bothered to act against them. The residents demanded that the Department should act against such people who are using public points as vehicle washing stations.
