JAMMU, Oct 31: J&K Freedom Fighter Association observed Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel’s birth anniversary today in a function held at Bal Niketan Ved Mandir, Amphalla, Jammu today.
The Ved Gandotra, president, J&K Freedom Fighter Association organized the function wherein chief guest was Mr Romesh, Additional Secretary, Food and Supplies.
The members of the association paid floral tributes at the photograph of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel and remembered his deeds and dedications for the freedom struggle of the country including his post-independence efforts to join all the scattered princely states into Indian Union.
Other present on the occasion were Sukhminder Singh Maini, G S Charak, Hardeep Singh, K K Rao, Gajan Singh, Narinder Singh, T S Remi, Deepak Sharma, Prof B L Bhardwaj among others.
