NEW DELHI, Mar 3: Saria prices fell by Rs 500 per tonne at the steel market in the national capital today due to reduced offtake by stockists following slow down in constructions activity.
Traders said reduced offtake by stockists due to subdued demand from construction units, mainly led to the fall in saria prices.
Kamdhenu 8-mm,10-mm and 12-mm were down by Rs 500 each to Rs 38,500, Rs 37,300 and Rs 37,300 per tonne respectively.
Saria 16-25-mm also traded lower by a similar margin to Rs 36,800 per tonne.
