Srinagar, May 10: The Vice-Chairman, Lakes and Waterways Development Authority (LAWDA), Sarmad Hafeez who has been on deputation at Hyderabad, has been conferred with ‘Director General’s Gold Medal’ for his best all-round performance during the induction training programme for IAS officers held at Dr MCT HRD Institute.
Sixty seven IAS officers participated in the programme which was conducted between March 28 to May 6. IAS Officers from batches between 1999 to 2014, belonging to States such as UP, Haryana, Telangana, Gujarat etc were part of this programme.
Two officers from J&K which included JKPDC MD Kifayat Hussain Rizvi and Sarmad Hafeez were selected to take part in the programme.
