KISHTWAR, Aug 12: Vice President J&K Congress and MLA Inderwal GM Saroori today said equipping rural and far flung areas of Tehsil Bunjwah and Sarthal with all required infrastructure is his priority and mega-projects have been launched to upgrade rural infrastructure.
He said focused attention has been paid to transform development profile of these areas which were lagging behind in the overall development front.
During these public meetings, people projected various demands and problems of their respective areas seeking an early redressal of the same. The issues which were brought to the notice of the Mr Saroori pertained to improvement in the drinking water supply, road connectivity, electricity besides black topping on Dunadi-Bunjwah road and other basic facilities.
Saroori listened to the grievances of people and issued on-the-spot instructions to the concerned officers for early redressal of the same.
He was addressing public meetings here at Bunjwah and Sarthal areas.
Saroori also inaugurated the Dashkrya shed constructed under his Constituency Development Funds (CDF) at an estimate cost of Rs 3 lakhs at Lava Sarthal.
