Saroori inspects various ongoing works

KISHTWAR, June 5: Former Minister and MLA Inderwal, GM Saroori who is on the tour of Inderwal Constituency, today visited Sarthal, Doori, Ghan, Bhagran and Angara and took stock of all ongoing projects.
Saroori conducted a series of meetings with the Party workers and locals and assured them that the NC-Congress Coalition Government is committed to their development and it will take all steps to mitigate their sufferings.
Addressing meetings at Sarthal, Doori, Ghan, Bhagram and Angara, he apprised the people of various schemes launched by the State and Central Government for their development.
The people highlighted many problems including shortage of drinking water, unscheduled power cuts and poor road connectivity. They also complained against the hanging electric wires. The public of Doori Poora demanded immediate construction of Ghan Poora road, already sanctioned under PMGSY and immediate restoration of road from Sheela to Bhagram, which has got damaged.
The MLA issued on spot instructions to the concerned authorities to mitigate the sufferings of the people by making the basic amenities of life available to them.
Later, Saroori accompanied by officials of Electric Department visited Moharwari where land has been identified for construction of Receiving Station under RGVKY.
Sarpanch, Farooq Ahmed, Subhash Choudhary Kareem and officers of various departments accompanied Saroori during his tour.
