Saroori visits district hospital, demands compensation

KISHTWAR, Aug 14: Senior Congress leader and Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Inderwal GM Saroori today visited district hospital and enquired about the health of those injured in the recent communal clash.
He demanded immediate compensation for the injured and also for the loss of public property, so that the affected persons may resume their business.
Saroori also enquired about the status of injured and directed the Doctors to extend best medicare to them for their early recovery. He also extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family of deceased and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls.
He also asked Shakeel Shah, Congress leader from Udhampur to visit Command Hospital to enquire about the condition of the injured shifted there.
Saroori urged every citizen irrespective of religion, caste, and creed to maintain law and order besides maintaining the communal harmony. The people should thwart the vested nefarious designs of the society, he added.
He also lauded the role of the Army for controlling the situation and said that it was only after Army intervention that the situation is under control now.
