KATHUA, Feb 26: A social workers group led by Sarpanch, Rakesh Choudhary working for Manav Kalyan became the role model in the society by helping the poor people without any self interest.
The social group led by Sarpanch is donating the money to help the needy people like performing marriage ceremony of poor girls , medical aid for ailing people and construction of houses for homeless poor.
The social group constructed a two room house for a very poor homeless family of village Saida.
The joy of the poor family of village Saida in tehsil Hiranagar who had no house to live in and were living in rented accommodation knew no bounds after they got a Pacca house and their long dream with the help of social workers was fulfilled.
The house owner Raj Kumar is a poor person living from hand to mouth after running a rehari. He was suffering from diseases and needed big amount to purchase costly medicines. He has two children a girl and son. In shortage of finance girl did not get admission in college after completing 12th class.
Sushma Devi, wife of Raj Kumar showed here happiness after they got the possession of their own house with the financial support of Sarpanch, Rakesh Choudhary and his associates and thanked them for their benevolence. She said that they were facing numbers of problems while living in a tin shed. “My husband suffering from serious disease and we have no source of earning in the family. Now they got relief and moral and financial support from social group Manav Kalyan.
