KISHTWAR, June 28: The three day long annual Sarthal Devi Yatra concluded here today with performing of Maha Yagya (Hawan) and offering of Thali to the Deity at the Holy Shrine in a traditional manner by Sanjeev Parihar, vice chairman of Shri Sarthal Devi Ji Management Council.
The Yatra was organized by Shri Sarthal Devi Ji Trust under the patronage of Dr. Karan Singh, Sole Trustee and Vikarmaditya Singh, Chairman Trustee of the Trust.
Yagya and other sacred rituals of the deity were performed by priests in the temple premises following traditional customs.
Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav; ADDC, Sham Lal and ACR, Varunjeet Charak were also present on this occasion along with devotees.
Sanjeev Parihar, vice chairman of Sarthal Devi Ji Management Council, expressed gratitude to District Administration Kishtwar and Police Department for extensive arrangements for the event.
He also thanked Sanatan Dharam Sabha and all other religious organizations involved in Yatra’s smooth conduct.
Later, Prasad was served among the devotees.
