Sarthal Devi Yatra on June 26; arrangements finalized

KISHTWAR, June 7: Shri Sarthal Devi Ji Management Council announced today that the arrangements for the upcoming Birth Anniversary celebration of Shri Ashtadashbhuja Mata Sarthal Devi Ji, known as the Sarthal Devi Yatra, have been finalized.
Under the guidance of Vikramditya Singh, Chairman of the Shri Sarthal Devi Ji Trust, a meeting was held by Sanjeev Parihar, Vice Chairman, to ensure a smooth and successful Yatra. Various arrangements were discussed and decided upon during the meeting.
According to Parihar, the Shobha Yatra will commence from Gauri Shankar Mandir Sarkoot at 2 Pm on June 26, 2023, following the conclusion of Hawan (religious ceremony) and Puran Aahuti (offering).
The Yatra will be conducted using buses and matadors, which will be provided free-of-cost by the management committee. The committee will oversee the transportation arrangements. Additionally, lodging and boarding facilities will be arranged for the Yatries (devotees) at the Shrine by the Trust.
The Management extended an appeal to all devotees to join the Shobha Yatra on June 26, 2023, and be part of the celebrations.
The meeting was attended by Advocate Kuldeep Sharma, Surinder Sen (President of SD Sabha Kishtwar), RK Rana (Retired XEN), PL Shan, Ved Prakash Mahajan, Randeep Bhandari, and Ram Saroop Sharma.
