JAMMU, May 31: Listening to the grievances put forth by residents of Gole Gujaral, Sat Sharma, former Housing & Urban Development Minister, asked the concerned department officials to immediately provide relief to the people by pumping out filthy water from the streets.
He stated that BJP is committed to provide people an environment that is essential pro-development and hygienic to thrive in a disease free State.
A deputation from Gole Gujaral led by local Sarpanch apprised the senior party leaders about the problems faced by the locals due to the flooded streets. Deputationists said that the stagnant water has caused a serious threat to the health of people, especially the school going children and the ailing elders. They said that the people would be forced to take the agitation path due to the non-serious apathy by the administration.
Former MLC, Charanjit Singh Khalsa and J&K BJP Media in charge, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra were also present on the occasion.
Sat Sharma and Ashwani Sharma immediately talked to the concerned Department officials and asked them to provide immediate relief to the people. They said that the sanitation is the right of the people and the concerned departments must take swift action to clear the dirty water from the streets and ensure that the Nallah is properly taken care of to prevent such recurrence in future.
Sat Sharma, former BJP president and former Minister along with former MLA Ashwani Sharma, JMC councillor & BJP SC Morcha, Seh-Prabhari Jeet Angral, and BJP SEM Shailja Gupta listened to the public grievances at BJP Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
While listening to the grievances, Sat Sharma (CA), added that BJP has a mission to improve the life of Jammu people, by providing them with hygienic and developed environment to thrive while addressing their daily concerns.
Ashwani Sharma said that the senior BJP leaders sincerely listen and try to sort out their issues on a daily basis at party headquarter to give the visiting deputations and individuals relief in their longstanding issues.
Jeet Angral and Shailja Gupta coordinated the camp proceedings.
During the camp, people from different parts of Jammu & Kashmir visited the party office to represent the issues of their respective areas as well as their individual concerns before the senior party leadership.
The other issues presented were related to the ration cards, verification of land titles, transformer issues, electric poles, streetlights, repair of lanes/ roads, job issues, etc.
