Sat assures more funds for completion of community hall

JAMMU, Sept 8: Providing a systematic infrastructure in all spheres of Jammu West, State president BJP and MLA Sat Sharma (CA) visited Rajput  Mohalla at Gole area of Ward 32 along with Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) officials, local residents and political activists of the area and inspected the construction work of community hall. RCC pillars and slabs were laid in the first phase of the construction and an amount of Rs 22 lakh were spent for the construction of the same.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that the work for the community hall was started a couple of years back in which pillars and slabs were placed but due to some reasons, JMC could not take up the works and the construction of a full fledged community hall was left.
He said that a proper community hall will be provided to the public of the area so that people from this Ward and also from other adjoining wards including 30, 31, 40 and 41 wards as well as other areas could also be benefitted by it. He said that such places could be used for public gatherings as well and family functions.
He directed the JMC officials to prepare estimates so that the works for further construction of the same could be taken up in hand and he also assured the masses that if necessary he will give the amount from his Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for the construction of the same.
Sharma also stated that the areas where there is a necessity of a community hall will also be looked into on priority so that basic demands of the public could be met.
Executive Engineer Central Division Parbodh Sharma, AEE JP Saraf, JE Satish Malla, JE BK Raina, district president BJP Ayodhya Gupta, Veena Gupta, Sanjeev Sharma, Sat Pal Karlupia, Jeet Angral, Jatin Sethi, Parneesh Mahajan, Lovekesh Gondi, Puneet Mahajan, Rajesh Gupta, Gurcharan Singh, Gurbachan Singh, Capt (retd) Bhupinder Singh, Manjeet Singh, Balwan Singh, Avtar Singh, Neelam Nargotra, Asha Rani, Santosh Sharma, Jaideep Singh, Atul Bakshi, Ankush Malhotra, Rajan Verma, Surjeet Singh, Khushal Sharma, Radhe Krishan, Rakesh Kumar and several others were also present on the occasion.
