JAMMU, Jan 21: Senior BJP leader and former MLA, Sat Sharma inaugurated newly constructed bathroom at Shivalikpuram area of Janipur in Ward 37.
Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor of the Ward, Sunita Gupta and Chairman Swach Bharat Standing Committee of JMC, Yash Pal Sharma; BJP Mandal President, Raveesh Mengi and others were also present on the occasion.
The work was completed under the supervision of JMC at an estimated cost of Rs 7 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that bathroom in the area was a long pending demand of the locals as they faced problems during deaths and Uthalas.
He claimed that places of religious importance were fully developed in Jammu West during his tenure as MLA and wherever necessary he still recommends the works for the same to the concerned officers of various departments.
Sunita Gupta and Yashpal Sharma said that more developmental works of utmost importance will be taken up in coming days which have been recommended by the former MLA.
Raveesh stated that BJP believes in the agenda of nation first and Sat Sharma mostly remains in field to solve the grievances of public.
Ramesh Chander Sharma, A.K Malhotra, C.L Chandan, Hemant Chouhan, M.R Verma, BJP leaders Sangeeta Verma, Neena Jamwal, Rakesh Gupta, Swarn Singh, Maini, Deep Sehgal and others were also present on the occasion.
