JAMMU, Sept 3: To provide better power services in areas of Jammu West constituency, State BJP president and MLA Sat Sharma inaugurated a brand new transformer of 250 KVA installed at Himmat Colony, Talab Tillo falling in Ward No 32.
Accompanied by PDD officials, the BJP president inaugurated the transformer in the presence of a large number of people hailing from the area.
The installation of transformer was taken up under the CDF (Constituency Development Fund) scheme of MLA in which the amount contributed is Rs 6 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that it was a long pending demand of the local residents of the area and installation of this transformer will solve the problem of unscheduled power cuts and relief will be provided to the residents. He stated that problem of fluctuation will also be resolved.
Xen PDD Sanjay Sharma, AEE PDD Anil Abrol, JE PDD Sanjeev Hans and BJP district president, Ayodhya Gupta were also present on the occasion.
