JAMMU, Feb 1: Dedicated to the residents of Ward No-29, former Minister Sat Sharma (CA) along with District President BJP Ayodhya Gupta and Corporator of Ward 29 Surinder Choudhary inaugurated works for up-gradation of lane no-2 at Rajpura, Shakti Nagar area here.
Sharma was accompanied by officials of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), local residents, social and political activists of the area.
The works included upgradation of lane by paver tiles worth Rs 2.92 lakh which will be done under the supervision of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC).
Speaking on the occasion, Sharma said the Government is committed to provide better road connectivity and appropriate drainage system in every locality and development works are being completed in a speedy manner thus accruing the benefits to the public in time.
District President BJP Ayodhya Gupta on the occasion said that the country is witnessing transformational changes under the leadership of Prime Minister Narindra Modi and the day is not far when India would be counted amongst the super powers of the world.
Corporator Surinder Choudhary directed the concerned officers for completion of works in a time bound manner to benefit the locals at the earliest. He directed the officers of concerned departments to maintain the quality work and ensure proper utilization of resources.
AEE JMC Ashok Sharma, JE JMC BK Raina, State Additional Secretary Protocol Bawa Sharma, Mandal Vice President Neeraj Gupta Tony, Mandal General Secy. Keshav Chopra, Heera Lal Sharma, Suresh Gupta, Atul Bakshi, Suresh Verma, Ritesh Dogra, Ashwani Gupta, Kewal Verma, Girdhari Lal, Vishal Sambyal and Babbu Pant were present on the occasion.
