Sat inspects developmental works

JAMMU, May 20: BJP State president & MLA Sat Sharma (C.A.), along with Jammu East MLA Rajesh Gupta and senior officials of Jammu Municipal Corporation, visited Shanti Ghat cremation ground in Shakti Nagar and inspected various developmental works which are in progress there.
Sat Sharma, has initiated works like construction of water tank, erecting pre-fabricated sheds, construction of sitting steps of Kota stone, interlocking paved tiles on the passage and courtyard, up gradation of the park by way of spreading wood earth and small gates for entrance in the park for the convenience of the people in the cremation ground. Funds to the tune of Rs 22 lakh has already been made available to the JMC for these works.
Sat Sharma, while stressing on early completion of the works, directed the executing agency authorities to strictly ensure quality work and regular inspection of each work. He said that since a cremation ground is a place to be used for the public, it needs to have all the required facilities in its premises. He said that the funds should not come any obstacle in providing facilities and if needed more funds will be released.

Raina, BJP State Treasurer Chander Mohan Gupta, district President Ayodhya Gupta, Distt. general secretary Sanjeev Sharma, Surinder Choudhary, Mandal President Jeet Angral, Rakesh Mishra, Sanjay Bhan, Puneet Gupta accompanied the State President.
