Sat inspects ongoing developmental works

JAMMU, May 22: Former State BJP president and Ex Minister Sat Sharma today visited Ward No 33 of the constituency and inspected the ongoing developmental works in the area.
Sharma visited lane number 27 of the ward where blacktopping work at an estimated cost of Rs 7.50 lakh is in progress under the supervision of PWD. He also visited other adjoining lanes where works of construction of lanes and drains at the cost of Rs 6.5 lakh is in progress under the supervision of JMC. He was also accompanied by District BJP president Ayodhya Gupta and general secretary Munish Khajuria.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that the main motive of the visit was to check ongoing developmental works in the Ward and to interact with the inhabitants. He stated that there were so many pending works in the area which were done during his tenure as MLA. He said that people of the area were earlier facing a lot of problems due to power crisis but he installed a new transformer which gave a major relief to inhabitants.
Ayodhya Gupta highlighted the development works done in various parts of Jammu West. He said it was due to the efforts of our Ex-MLA that helped in bringing some major projects in the constituency including Mini stadium at Bhagwati Nagar, changing of water pipes and sewerage lines, macadamization of roads, installation of hundreds of transformers and many more.
State Protocol secretary Bawa Sharma, Ward president Balwan Singh, Booth president Mohit Vaid and a large number of local residents accompanied the BJP leader during his visit.
