JAMMU, Mar 5: Former State president BJP and Ex Minister, Sat Sharma (CA) along with Corporator Ward 40, Neelam Nargotra kick started macadamization works of Kamla Palace road.
The works will be constructed under the supervision of PWD(R&B) Department at an estimated cost of Rs 40 lakh approximately.
The BJP leader was also accompanied by Corporator Ward 41 Sanjay Baru, Mandal president, Keshav Chopra, district general secretary, Rajesh Gupta, UT media secretary BJP, Dr Pardeep Mahotra and many others including local residents and political activists of the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma highlighted the works pertaining to macadamization done in all spheres of Jammu West and said that this road was in a messy condition for sometime as many works were pending here and after their completion, now the works for blacktopping are being taken up so that a proper infra could be provided to the inhabitants who were facing a lot of distress before. He stated that such quality of infrastructure to inhabitants of Jammu and Kashmir is only because of PM Narendra Modi led Central Government who has kept J&K on its priority and whatever possible, it is being done so that no problem persists for the people of UT.
He also stated that pending works for blacktopping will also be taken up in coming days in those areas which are left behind and within a stipulated time frame, all works will be done.
Neelam said that on the recommendations of former MLA, this pending demand has been met and it will impact thousands of people living in the area. She also stated that more works are in the pipeline and will be taken up in coming days. She highlighted development works done in the Ward.
Sanjay and Keshav complimented the former MLA for making Jammu West as the best constituency of UT and they claimed that former MLA started developing the constituency from basic and now it has reached to the heights where development can be seen physically.
Annu Behnal, Satyabhsuhan Dubey, YashPal Shivgotra, Parveen Ghai, Lovely Saini, Rajesh Saini, Rahul Nargotra, Paramjit Ravinder, Abhishek Sharma, Harish Dutta, Jaipal Sharma, Manohar Lal Gupta, Tipu, Choudhary, Sardari Lal, Krishan Lal, SAngral and others were also present.
