JAMMU, Mar 5: BJP State president & MLA Jammu West, Sat Sharma today kick started the construction work of lane and drain at Ward No. 18 of his constituency.
State additional publicity secretary, Parduman Singh, district president BJP, Ayodhya Gupta along with other local BJP leaders, social activists and prominent citizens from the locality also accompanied the MLA during the inauguration.
While addressing the gathering, Sat Sharma emphasized on the need to pace the ongoing developmental works in every sphere. He prompted the common masses to become eyes and ears for the elected representative to achieve the target.
Sharma claimed that the present dispensation headed by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi at the Centre has pledged to take country on the path of New India. He said that this is a dream come true, when the people have again started to see themselves in the same boat as the Government due to the public friendly policies and the concentrated efforts to extend every welfare scheme to the most neglected sections of the society.
This is an era of rejuvenated hope and people have shredded the chains of hopelessness, MLA claimed.
While giving details of the ongoing work in Ward No. 18, Sharma said that the lane construction near Radha Krishan Mandir is being carried out with the help of JMC at the cost of Rs 12.5 lakh. MLA said that he is working with the sole aim of serving the society and the funds will not be of any restraint for the development works in the region.
He also instructed the concerned agency to provide the best workmanship in the construction of lane.
