JAMMU, Oct 21: As a part of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vishwaas and Sabka Vikas” campaign, former Minister, Sat Sharma along with BJP leader, Zorawar Singh Jamwal today kick started multiple development works worth Rs 50 lakhs in Shakti Nagar, Rajpura Mangotrian and adjoining Gurha Bakshi Nagar localities falling under Ward No. 29 and 28 of Jammu Municipal Corporation,(JMC) here.
Addressing the gathering, former BJP president, Sat Sharma emphasized that the initiation of development endeavours underlines the BJP’s steadfast dedication in addressing the concerns of people. He highlighted the transformative strides witnessed in Jammu and Kashmir since the advent of the Narendra Modi Government in 2014. He thanked MP, Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency, Jugal Kishore Sharma for providing funds from his MPLAD for the developmental projects.
Sat Sharma further noted that prior to this, development funds designated for the Jammu region were often diverted to Kashmir Valley, giving step motherly treatment to Jammu region people. However, under the Modi regime, Jammu region has experienced a more balanced and equitable development trajectory.
In his address, BJP leader, Zorawar Singh Jamwal appealed to the public to rally behind and bolster the efforts of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi in the upcoming elections, with the goal of ensuring equitable development for all. Highlighting that Modi Government at the Centre is providing all kinds of basic facilities to the people living in urban and rural areas, BJP leader, Zorawar Singh Jamwal, commended local party workers their earnest commitment to addressing the needs of the common people and acknowledged their role in community upliftment. He further outlined the comprehensive pipeline of development projects that will be undertaken in a phased manner, promising significant progress in the near future.
On the occasion, Mulkh Raj Sharma, Ved Parkash Sharma, Rampal Sharma, Romesh Angurana, Sanjay Verma, Kewal Krishan Verma, Sunil Gupta, Surinder Sharma, Pawan Sharma, Pardeep Sharma, Kuldeep Sharma, Rekha Sharma, Nisha Kumari, Kasturi Lal Sharma, party workers and prominent people of the area were present.
