JAMMU, Nov 30: BJP State president & MLA Sat Sharma (C.A), along with Morcha Incharge Munish Sharma and BJYM State president Dr. Suresh Ajay Magotra, launched “signature campaign” on the issue of demonetization and e-banking by penning down his signature after writing “I support demonetization”, which was followed by signing by a large number of people from different walks of the life.
Sat Sharma, while speaking on the occasion, said that the decision of the Narendra Modi Government on demonetization has received overwhelming response from the people as they are convinced about the objective of taking this initiative. It will prove a multipurpose decision as it aims at ending corruption, black-money and fake currency. A common citizen may have faced some inconvenience during bank transaction but have stood with the PM in his noble cause for the nation.
He also spoke on e-banking and said that shifting of transactions from currency notes to e-banking will also prove to be a great boon to the Indian people.
Munish Sharma said that PM Narendra Modi has displayed his commitment towards fulfilling the election promise of ending corruption and black money from the country and the same is converted into practical with the historic step of demonetization.
Dr. Suresh Ajay Magotra said that the youth of today is well educated and informed and hence his or her role in making the people aware about the benefits of demonetization and e-banking is very important. Although the opposition parties are trying to mislead the people on the issue of demonetization but they have failed to trap the people.
He announced that the similar signature campaigns will be organized in each districts in the coming days. The event was organized by Jammu West BJYM District President Ashish Sharma.
