Sat releases Rs 1.5 lakh for repair works in W.No. 16

JAMMU, Feb 16: BJP State president & MLA Sat Sharma, while releasing an amount of Rs  1.5 lakh from his Constituency Development Funds (CDF) for taking up of repair work of lanes and drains in Jawahar Nagar area of W.No. 16 of Jammu West Assembly Constituency, handed over the official letter for making available the said amount to BJYM State vice-president Ajay Vaid in presence of prominent activists of the party.
Sat Sharma, on this occasion, said that every area falling in Jammu West Constituency is taken care and efforts are being made to ensure that while starting new works of development, focus is also laid on repairing of the damaged lanes, drains, nallahs etc. so that the public is not made to suffer. “Jammu West Assembly Constituency is the largest constituency in terms of population and hence more funds are required for undertaking the developmental activities but still every effort is made to see that no area is neglected or ignored”, Sat said and assured that whatever is possible within limited resources, will be done for the convenience of the people of the constituency.
Ajay Vaid, while expressing gratitude to the MLA for providing funds for repair works in Jawahar Nagar, said that the problems of the people of the area are being regularly raised with him and it is indeed a matter of satisfaction that the same are redressed.  He said that a number of works of development have been initiated in the ward after Sat Sharma became the MLA and the people are appreciating the concern displayed by him as the public representative of Jammu West.
BJP leaders Parneesh Mahajan, Sanjeev Sharma and Atul Bakshi were also present on the occasion.
