JAMMU, Mar 14: Former UT President BJP and Ex MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma along with BJP senior leader and JMC Councillor Ward Number 41 Sanjay Kumar Baru started construction work of drains at different spots in Colonel Colony Bohri.
BJP leaders were also accompanied by Mandal President Keshav Chopra, Ward President Ashok Wazir, local residents and political activists of the area.
The works will be executed under the supervision of Jammu Municipal Corporation at an estimated cost of Rs 12 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that recently results of State election shows that Governments in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi have performed well and development works are going on in full swing all over. Schemes of Union Government are reaching to the needy at grassroot level, he aded.
Sanjay Baru said that Jammu Kashmir UT witnessed era of development and benefits of good governance after 73rd and 74th amendments.
