JAMMU, Mar 13: MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) called the meeting of Principals and prominent citizens of Government Higher Secondary Schools of Jammu West Constituency Rehari Colony, here in order to know the infrastructural position of the schools. The meeting was attended by B.S. Jaral, Principal of GHSS Sarwal, Kamla Kumari, Principal GHSS Girls Bakshi Nagar, Neelam Gupta, Principal GGHSS Nowabad, Vindo Kumar Gupta Principal GHSS(Boys) Nowabad and Kuldip Sharma, GGHSS Canal Road Jammu.
The participants in the meeting putforth the infrastructural need and other problems being faced by the school administration. Sat Sharma asked the heads of the institution to suggest ways and means so that each child of the Constituency gets quality education.
He said that the education that students will get will help in the betterment of the students and also help them to bring an improvement in the society and the responsibility of it lies on the teacher and the head of the institution.
He also said that in near future he will call the meeting of heads of all Primary, Middle and High Schools of his constituency. He said that he will visit all the institutions of the constituency along with officers of the department and leave no stone unturned to improve the position of schools in terms of infrastructure and faculty.
He did the round of Girls HSS Rehari with Principal Subash Chander and staff to assess the facilities made available for the girls students. He expressed his happiness over steps taken by Principal GGHSS Rehari to provide facilities to students in the institution.
Prominent citizens who attended the meeting were Praduman Singh, Ayodhya Singh, Sanjay Sawhney, RC Gupta, Naresh Bhardwaj, Amit Dutta, and Sourab.
