JAMMU, July 29: To improve the conditions of public parks in Jammu West, State vice president BJP and MLA Sat Sharma toured lower Shiv Nagar, Shant Nagar area (Ram Sharnam), and JDA (Jammu Development Authority) Park, Janipur along with officials of JDA, today.
Sharma visited lower Shiv Nagar (Shanti Nagar) area along with the team of JDA where a piece of land owned by JDA is lying vacant from the past so many years and on the demands of the public of creating a public park in the area, he spoke to authorities of JDA and told them that there is a dire requirement of a public park in the area in order to provide best possible services to the public.
The JDA has assured that every necessary help which will provide assistance to public will be done on the same.
He stated that as far as JDA Park Janipur is concerned, the department is going to invest around rupees 10 lakhs on the same on its beautification which includes its renovation works, grass cutting, fountain, lights, daily cleaning and other necessary items are also to be done which are required for the beautification of the same.
He also stated that Jammu West consists of dozens of public parks and they also need to be modernized and maintained properly. He said that he has already submitted a list of all Parks in the Jammu West to the Floriculture department who are going to maintain them in the coming days.
Mohit Mahajan, JDA XEn, mandal president BJP Praduman Singh, Subash Sharma, Yash Pal Mantoo, Sat Khajuria, Kishore Chandan, Naresh Bhardwaj, Kamlesh, Manjit Singh, Jyoti, AK Bhat, Geeta Dutta, JP Singh, Joginder Singh, Purshottam Singh, Ranjit Singh, Des Raj Khajuria, Ankush Sharma and others also accompanied the MLA during his visit.
