JAMMU, Feb 13: With a vision of spreading development to each and every sphere of Jammu West Assembly segment, State president BJP and MLA Sat Sharma (CA) held Public Durbar in Bharat Nagar Extension, Ward 40 of Talab Tillo area today. Sharma listened to the grievances of the residents of the area. Main problems consisted of upgradation of existing transformer, lanes drains and water supply. He was accompanied by JMC and UEED officials and local leaders of the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that solving problems of the masses is his top most agenda and it will be seen that every person residing in the Constituency is not deprived of any development in his area. While listening to the problems of residents of Bharat Nagar area, Sat Sharma assured the people that the problem of electricity supply will be taken care of before the Summer season and the existing transformer of 250 kvs will be upgraded to 400 kvs. He directed the officials of JMC to prepare estimates of pending works so that the masses do not suffer. He also directed officials of PHE Department to start work of laying new pipes in the area where there is acute shortage of water supply.
He said that upcoming projects of construction of lanes and drains will cover the sanitation which will benefit not only the Ward but every segment of the Constituency. The BJP MLA also urged the public to promote the “Swach Bharat Abhiyaan” in their areas as well to build a neat and clean Nation and directed Health Officer JMC to check this area and other areas concerning sanitation.
