JAMMU, Dec 24: Continuing the developmental agenda of present Coalition Government, State president BJP and MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) kick started works for construction of new lane and drain at Lane number 1 Shakti Nagar (Ward 29) area and also toured the adjoining areas along with officials of JMC in order to take up further works in the area. A large number of people, including JMC officials, local residents, political and social activists were also present.
The works were taken up under the supervision of JMC at an estimated cost of Rs 3 lakhs to improve the scenario of lanes and drains in the area after the laying of new sewerage system was done by ERA in the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that he is committed to provide basic level infra to the residents of Jammu West and further it becomes the responsibility of the citizens as well to help in maintaining these things in the future by keeping their localities clean.
He said that under the tenure of present Coalition Government in the State, the development level has been taken up to new heights in the State and it will be seen that the pace of the all ongoing works are conducted in a systematic way in order to provide next level infrastructure to the masses of Jammu West.
He also appealed the masses as well to maintain the cleanliness in their localities so that a clean Constituency could be bloomed in coming times which will also further strengthen the hands of our Prime Minister who has dreamt of building “Swach Bharat”.
