JAMMU, Sept 22: Sat Sharma, former BJP president and former Minister, accompanied by Ward 40 JMC councillor, Neelam Nargotra, today initiated the work for laying of Paver tiles in the Bharat Nagar area of the Ward.
J&K BJP media secretary, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra and Mandal president, Keshav Chopra along with Yashpal Shivgotra, Arun Dubey, Rahul Nargotra, Parveen Ghai, Paramjeet, Manohar Lal Gupta, Abhishek Sharma, Vikas Kumar, Sonali Gupta, JP Sharma, Devinder Singh Jamwal, Anil Gupta, M.L. Raina, Sardar Jaswant Singh, Jugal Kishore Gupta, R.L. Koul, Anil Bhat, and others were also present.
Sat Sharma, initiating the Paver Tile laying work, said that being the low-lying area in the lanes, the earlier macadamization in the lanes was damaged, requiring major repairs, and now for the long-term solution to the issue, the local councillor Neelam Nargotra made efforts for the laying of Paver Tile. This work will give local people a big respite from the problems being faced by them.

Policies enacted by the Modi Government have ensured development on the ground level as per the expectations of people”, said Sat Sharma.
Neelam Nargotra said that many major development works in the Ward have been completed in the previous years. She said that, for the first time, the Corporation has received such liberal funding under the Modi Government and she is sure that soon all the urgent works in Ward 40 would be completed.
Dr. Pardeep Mahotra said that these nine years of Modi Government have been dedicated to bring about development which is inclusive, progressive, and sustainable. PM Modi has brought the politics of development – Vikasvaad – into the mainstream, making it the focal point around which political discourse and policy action now revolves.
Keshav Chopra praised the Ward Councillor for her endeavours to provide the best facilities to the Ward residents and insisted that she is taking forward the development mission of the Prime Minister in every nook and corner.
