JAMMU, May 4: In an initiative to provide common assistance to the residents of Ambphalla and people passing through the area, BJP MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) laid foundation of Municipal toilet near Dental College, Ambphalla Chowk. Accompanied by local leaders, Ex Corporator and people belonging to all walks of life were present on the occasion.
The project of the toilet is estimated at a cost of Rs 4.50 lakhs which will be completed under the supervision of JMC’s (Jammu Municipal Corporation) in CDP (Constituency Development Plan).
Addressing the gathering, Sat Sharma (CA) said that with the construction of this toilet in the area a long pending demand of the people was met.
Sharma also assured the people that a Mini Park will also be constructed near the Toilet Complex and a Water Cooler for the locals will also be installed in order to cope with the basic requirements of the public.
He said that everyone should adopt cleanliness level and it is imperative that people should contribute collectively in making the country clean of solid waste beside many ills of the society.
