Sat Sharma releases funds for lane, drain construction

JAMMU, Aug 21: Former Minister and MLA Jammu West Assembly Segment, Sat Sharma (C.A.) has ordered construction of lane and drain from the house of Mohan Singh up to the House of Konu Sharma and Anil Sharma in the Ward 26 of his Constituency.
Sharma also issued the letter regarding release of Rs 8,20,859 in this regard from his CDF. He gave instructions to authorities of Jammu Municipal Committee (JMC) to start the work on the lane and drain immediately.
The issue was brought in the notice of MLA by a deputation of the residents of the Ward and taking a prompt action Sharma visited the area and sanctioned the CDF for the construction of lane and drain.
BJP district president, Ayodhya Gupta, State media incharge & press secretary, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Mandal president, Jeet Angral and other senior BJP leaders also accompanied the MLA.
It may be recalled that the residents were facing difficulties in the ongoing rainy season.
Sat Sharma keenly listened to the grievances of the deputation and took stock of the ground situation in the area by taking immediate feedback from the concerned authorities of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Public Works Department (PWD), Public Health Engineering (PHE) and Economic Reconstruction Agency (ERA).
While interacting with the deputation, Sat stressed that no loop hole will be tolerated in ensuring quality public services. He said that the BJP has always kept its commitment to provide the best possible service for basic amenities at the door steps of general masses. He also said that as an elected representative of public, it is his prime duty to address the issues of masses.
Sharma, released a sum of Rs eight lakh twenty thousand eight hundred fifty nine out of his Constituency Development Funds (CDF) in favour of JMC, while handing over the letter to the visiting deputation for the construction of lane and drain from house of Mohan Singh up to Kanu Sharma and up to Anil Sharma at Ward No. 26.
He also directed the concerned authorities for ensuring the quality work which should be started at the earliest to address the public issue.
Sharma also prompted the masses to check the quality of work while it be pursued so that it lasts for years to come.
Prem Gupta, Mohan Singh, Anil Sharma, Sonia Arora, Rajni Arora, Sunil Kumar, Polla Tailor, Ranjana Jasrotia, K.D. Singh, Mohan Lal, Sagar Singh Salathia and others were present in the deputation.
