JAMMU, July 31: Making best efforts at his level to provide basic amenities to residents of Jammu West Assembly Segment, State president BJP and MLA Sat Sharma (CA) started construction works of lanes and drains at Bharat Nagar area of  Ward Number 40. Accompanied by a large number of people including officials of JMC (Jammu Municipal Corporation), Sharma started the works in the presence of local residents and political activists of the area as well.
The works will be constructed under the supervision of JMC at an estimated cost of around Rs 10.50 lakh. There are four lanes which will be constructed under the plan.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that development is running in all spheres of Jammu West and that day is not far enough when whole Assembly Segment will be bloomed into a Model Constituency of the State and for that the cooperation of the masses is necessary.
He said that all 26 Wards of the Constituency have been kept on priority and developmental works are in progress in all wards of Jammu West.
He stated that it is his prime duty to serve the masses and it will be seen that no area of Jammu West is ignored and development will reach every nook and corner of the Constituency.
Sharma also visited the adjoining lanes of the area as well and he directed the officials of JMC to jot down the works to be taken up in the area. The residents also thanked the MLA for solving their grievances.
