Sat starts work on community hall at Ward 29

JAMMU, Dec 22: Former Minister and senior BJP leader, Sat Sharma today visited Rajpura Magotrian area of Ward 29 along with Corporator Surinder Choudhary and kickstarted construction work of a community hall.
The hall is being constructed with an estimated amount Rs 17 lakh under the supervision of Jammu Municipal Corporation.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that the work for the community hall will be constructed with proper pillars and slabs. He said that the community hall will also be comprised of two rooms to provide best possible facility to the inhabitants of Ward 29.
He said that a proper community hall will be provided to the public of the area so that people from this ward and also from other adjoining wards including Ward 27, 28, 33 and other areas could get benefit of this facility.
Sharma also stated that other areas where there is a necessity of a community hall will also be looked upon on priority so that basic demands of the public could be met.
Surinder Choudhary said that such places could be used for public gatherings as well and family functions. He said such halls keep the old tradition alive as in old times, programmes and functions were usually held in community halls.
JE SK Raina, district general secretary of BJP, Munish Khajuria, Heera Lal, Kewal Krishan, Tarun Sharma, Ramesh Kumar, Shashi Madaan, Mulkh Raj, Pawan Sharma, Girdhari Lal, Ashwini Sharma, Girdhari Lal Pandit, Kuldeep Sharma, Sain Dass, Darshan Lal Verma, Ladi, Rajan Charak and several others were also present.
