JAMMU, May 22: Former Minister, Sat Sharma has said that we should become job providers instead of job seekers.
Speaking on first anniversary celebrations of ‘Bombshells by Sonia’—a complete makeover place for women in Gandhi Nagar, Sharma said that current scenario demands that time has come for Indian youth to bring in an attitudinal shift in mindset and instead of seeking jobs, they must prefer to become job providers and the best way to accomplish this aim is to set up their own business establishments as per their capacity and local conditions.
He said that by becoming entrepreneurs the youth will be augmenting Government’s initiatives to end unemployment by creating job opportunities for those seeking jobs.
Sharma lauded the efforts of Sonia Maini and stated that she started this venture by taking a loan under Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Program of Rs. 10 lakh and in one year with her hard work, she excelled in this stream and caters to the needs of many women who come here to avail the services.
Sonia stated that she has provided job to six people.
Employees Cell Convener, S.K Sharma, Ish Mahajan, Abhimanyu Maini, Ajay Ahuja, Ramit Khurana, Anish Abrol, Dr. Virendra Sharma and others were also present on the occasion.
